IT Manager

Relate Search has partnered with a company in the Greater Omaha area on their search for an IT Manager. This position will be over the IT infrastructure team and will implement best practices for IT security. The IT Manager plays a pivotal role in achieving organizational strategic goals and will report directly to the Head of IT. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, performance, and security

• Monitor and manage servers, networks, and other IT resources

• Manage the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and servers

• Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, including training and mentoring

• Maintain security measures to protect the infrastructure against threats

• Foster environment of collaboration, communication, and best practices among team members

• Work with tools like Windows Server Active Directory, Meraki Switches, SD-WAN, subnets, VPNs and firewalls

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience in IT or related field

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, storage solutions, cloud services and networking)

• Prior experience with IT security best practices and governance

• Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
