Position Description

Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a Financial System Analyst. The ideal candidate will be part of a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract to support the F-35 Financial Reporting Implementation Group (FRIG) & National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 142 Support for The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment (OASD(S)). The FRIG has developed a Financial Reporting Strategy which sets three critical paths to success for reporting financial information for the F-35 program.

The Financial System Analyst will perform financial assessments of the IPSEs (As Is) and the IPSE transition alternatives as defined by the Department and service co-leads. The financial analysis will include net present value, operating and one-time costs, sensitivity, and worst-case scenario analysis. The financial analysis will include material and labor costs for organic and industry product support providers (inclusive of labor rate and hours based on data availability).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience with DoD financial systems (system architecture preferred).
  • Supports the conduct of program reviews and provides technical assistance and training.
  • Capable of providing expertise to relevant budget and resource management principles and practices for developmental and operational programs.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities in the budget analysis field. - -
  • Capable of utilizing, adapting and developing budget and resource analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
  • Works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems.
