CSEngineering is looking to add a Data Engineer/Data Analyst to our growing team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Candidate shall develop community profiles within the areas of contamination including identification and characterization of:

• Socioeconomic indicators such as people of color, low-income populations, unemployment rate, limited English speaking/other languages, less than high school education, and age
• Demographics (i.e., statistical data relating to the population and particular groups within it)
• Environmental exposures burdens or cumulative exposures (e.g., populations disproportionately exposed to environmental risks or potential environmental quality issues),
• Subsistence patterns within a community
• Sensitive populations (e.g., low-income, elderly people, pregnant or nursing women, infants and children, and people with chronic illnesses).

• Combination of the environmental and demographic indicators that is greater than usual.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Public Trust

• Must have a BS/BA (Technical or Management degree).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
• Experience with Data analytics and the designing, maintaining, and optimizing data for data collection, management, transformation, and access. Particularly Meta Data and GIS/GeoBase Spatial Data (Mapping).
• Shall use federal and/or state online data tools such as CEJST and EPA's EJScreen to support development of the community profile.
• Ability to interact with senior level government management in coordinating and communicating and managing cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating with other project resources Federal and Contract.
• Demonstrated experience and success in working with data related to Environmental Justice.
• Excellent communication skills, multi-task and lead several projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
