Job Title: Sr Infrastructure Service Analyst
Work Location: Remote - 100% EST Time Zone or CST Time Zone Candidate only
Duration: 6 Month Contract (CTH)
Pay Rate: $50-$52/hr on W2

8+ years of industry experience administering Unix/ Linux environments.
2+ years of AWS Scalr experience
3+ years of AWS Containers experience
AWS Cloud Certification (Preferred)
Work Duties:
Will perform analysis and research of systems and networks. Reviews detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend technical solutions. Primary duties may include but are not limited to: Provides second level engineering design functions.
Will develop complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications. Creates presentations and seeks IT management's approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving a business unit or location.
Will direct the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
Will consult with application leaders to verify applications/technology conform to architecture standards.
Will set vendor strategy and direction; oversees adherence.
Will design and engineer comprehensive technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards; works with architecture to update technology direction and strategy.
Will research relevant trends and activities in healthcare, business, competition and regulatory environments; recommends strategy adjustments.
Will serve as technical merger and acquisition lead as needed.
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; 3 - 6 years of experience required in a support and operations role in any of the following areas: servers, networks, telecommunications, storage, mainframe, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Multiple trade certifications and/or continuing education preferred. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, participating in projects, and capable of resolving most incidents and configuration changes required. Demonstration of strong mentoring skills preferred.
Performs capacity analysis; recommends and implements capacity increases; serves as the technical escalation for results of preventative maintenance routines; supervises preventative maintenance. Performs the most complex operations and administration tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, modify and delete user account and groups
Create simple shell scripts or use tools such as ansible to automate repetitive tasks.
Test new software and maintain patches
Manage and maintain File permissions and ownership
Manage system logging and monitoring tools
Manage and monitor processes vital for system performance
Assist in setup and deployment of virtual machines
Provide support for applications
Response and address incident request (Tickets)

3+ Years of Unix experience
3+ Years of Unix Shell experience
