Applications Developer - Oracle eBusiness Suite - REMOTE

Centurion is hiring a Programmer and Applications Developer to support one of our clients remotely.
Description:

• Performance hours flexible based on needs of our client's management. The supplier should be able to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• The work must be performed according to client's policies based on the Software Delivery Framework and secure coding practices.
• Client requires the Supplier to provide resources to support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and overall technical support as required. The contractor must enhance and support these production applications and create new applications as the need arises.

Required Experience:

• Oracle eBS Financials knowledge centering around accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, iSupplier, Oracle Projects, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience in RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions) for Data Migration and Data Conversions.
• Extensive experience using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Developer Suite (Forms, Reports, JDeveloper, OAF), Workflow builder, XML Publisher, RICE Components (Data Conversions, Interfaces, Reports, Form Customizations and Personalization s)
• Design and Develop Interfaces using Oracle Open Interfaces and Oracle Public API s.
• Extensive experience in programming with Oracle Tools such as XML Publisher, and SQL*Loader.
• Experience developing using WebADI.
• Experience in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience in Advanced Oracle SQL querying and performance tuning.
• Expertise in creating Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, views, Materialized Views.
• Expertise in customizing reports using XML Publisher.
• Worked registering PL/SQL Packages as Concurrent Programs, Request Sets.
• Worked on interfaces using Oracle SOA gateway.
• Experience in working with Oracle Support for tickets resolving.
• Effectively present ideas and concepts to upper management in a clear and concise manner.
• Preferred knowledge of the following modules (specific to Oracle eBS Financials)
• iProcurement
• Accounts Receivables
• Accounts Payables
• Fixed Assets\PEAS
• Sub-Ledger Accounting
• General Ledger
• Foreign Post Settlement (FPS)
• Treasury Offset Program (TOP)
• iSupplier
• Finance Number Control Master (FNCM)
• Journal Entry Voucher (JEV)

Required Experience Level:

• Minimum of 5-7 years experience, in technology or software development preferred,

List of tasks to be performed:

• Update/develop/program Oracle eBusiness Suite, Financial, with expert knowledge in the Purchase Order and Accounts Payable modules.
• Update technical architecture diagrams and other documentation on the application in softcopy/hardcopy deliverables.
• Utilize an iterative development methodology and attend Agile ceremonies for all work done under this contract. The methodology must allow users to examine the validity and accuracy of the business requirements and to respond to the usability and performance of any new deployments or installs.
• Identify risks associated with the maintaining, upgrading, or cloning the databases.
• Consistently evaluate application design and implementation in accordance with Lean process improvement methods and recommend mitigation.
• Formulate a business model identifying the proposed (to-be) business processes necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the application.
• Develop use cases and determine the prescribed set of artifacts for each phase of each development cycle.
• Develop, document, and adhere to effective and appropriate configuration management practices.
• Maintain, enhance, and manage all existing business applications and correct defects as they become known. The same software engineering best practices and techniques will be used for application modifications as are to be used for new system development. All data and programming standards must be used and consistently applied.
• Identify risks associated with the development of new software efforts, including extension systems, the analysis and classification of those risks as to severity and likelihood, and the identification of techniques to mitigate the risks.
• Collect, develop, and analyze software requirements user story writing workshops assuring acceptance criteria is defined.
• Consistently evaluate application design and implementation in accordance with Lean process improvement methods and recommend mitigation.
• Formulate a business model identifying the proposed (to-be) business processes necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness for each application, as necessary.
• Develop use cases and determine the prescribed set of artifacts for each phase of each development cycle.
• Develop java applications using a service-oriented architecture and web services, as applicable.
• Develop applications in a multi-platform environment, using object-oriented programming, with an understanding of Internet/Intranet architecture.
• Develop software applications prototypes
