Job Description
To provide strategic oversight and leadership in the management of a portfolio of critical projects and programs that drive business success and align with organizational strategy.
Essential Functions:
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership for a portfolio of critical projects across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and manage project governance structures and processes.
- Collaborate with C-level executives to define project goals and objectives and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Establish and maintain project standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
- Lead risk management efforts, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and contingency strategies.
- Mentor and coach project managers and project teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide senior management with updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Expert-level knowledge of project and program management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to conduct complex financial modeling and budgeting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to make high-impact decisions under pressure and drive project success.
- Advanced skills in stakeholder management, change management, and conflict resolution.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in project management, program management, or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing large-scale, high-impact projects.
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of projects with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise in the use of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.) and methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
