  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: RN - Emergency Room

Start Date: 9/9/2024

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Mount Clemens, MI, 48043

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12

Shift Notes: Can have 4/12's with OT after 48 or 3/12's with OT after 40

Weekend Requirements: Every Other

On-Call Requirements: None

COVID Vaccination: na

Travel Policy: na

Dress Code: Navy Blue

Further Specifics
  • Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
  • OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
  • Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs, coordinates, and delegates activities to foster patient / family-centered care.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
  • Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
  • Makes appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
  • Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
  • Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Submission Requirements

  • 2+ years of ER - Required
  • TNCC - Required

Health system-wide profile standards
  • References NOT required.
  • A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
  • Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
  • Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
  • Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
