AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Regional Director for their Manhattan Adult Day Program. Summary Of Position
The Regional Director assists in the development of a strategic management plan in collaboration with a team of other Regional Directors. The ultimate goal is the delivery of diverse opportunities of quality supports and services for each individual supported and other interested members within their families.
The Regional Director is accountable for the resource management, strategic planning and implementation, and crisis management of an assigned region. The Regional Director is accountable and tasked with developing people and teams, quality supports and services, program enhancements, resource management, and external relationship management. The Regional Director supervises Program Directors & Operations Directors on overall quality and performance expectations, and is able to make positive changes by establishing direction, creating alignment, and focusing on people within the assigned region.

Essential Responsibilities
Developing People and Teams
- Manages a diverse staff team and fosters an inclusive and equitable work environment.
- Supports professional growth and continuous learning of regional team members.
- Develops local recruitment practices through community outreach and marketing.
- Works with program directors and regional team to develop innovative and flexible supports and services.
- Supervises program directors and operations managers in areas of regulatory compliance, incident management, and facility safety.
- Supervises program directors and operations directors in areas of regulatory compliance and audits and ensures that new service initiatives comply with all applicable regulations.
- Supervises program and operations managers on incident management, facility/property safety issues, emergencies/security issues, potentially dangerous situations, staffing patterns, and personnel issues.
- Uses available data to inform program evaluation, as well as drive continuous learning and program improvement.
- Envisions and implements future initiatives in alignment with departmental and agency goals.
- Designs program models, tools, and resources to increase program efficacy.
- Oversees fiscal management of assigned region in collaboration with department leadership, including creating programmatic budgets.
- Monitors program revenue and expenditures within the region.
- Develops a regional workforce deployment plan to ensure resource efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represents agency and department to community partners, local politicians, and NYC Department of Education
- Participates in internal and external committees, including agency’s Incident Review Committee, local DDRO and IAC meetings, and other associations.
