An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award

The Wish Assistant works with the wish granting and development department completing hands-on work to support mission of the foundation. Desired outcomes would include stronger communication skills, higher business ethic, greater understanding of working within the not-for-profit sector.

Responsibilities

  • Development: Assists in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding funds directed for our chapter. These tasks are done at the direction of the Development team.
  • Wish Coordination: Assists in coordinating the one, true wish of a child with a critical illness. These tasks are done at the direction of the Wish Delivery team.
  • Wish Family Communication: Assist in collecting all final paperwork from wish granting volunteers and families as well as sending wish family satisfaction surveys.
  • Community Communication: Assist in collecting all final paperwork from wish granting volunteers and families as well as sending wish family satisfaction surveys.
