We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Engineer/Manager to join our team in Orange, California. This role involves managing and leading various projects from conception to completion, overseeing the full product development lifecycle, and leading cross-functional teams. The selected candidate will be involved in strategic planning and problem-solving, and will have the opportunity to work both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage various projects, ensuring all aspects are executed on time and within budget.
Oversee the full product development lifecycle, including R& D activities.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration among internal and external resources.
Utilize technical skills such as mechanical, electrical, or design engineering to drive project success.
Develop and implement strategic plans to meet project goals and deadlines.
Exhibit exceptional communication and negotiation skills to keep projects progressing smoothly.
Establish data collection and reporting processes to capture key project metrics.
Take ownership of issue management, risk identification, and decision-making.
Ensure all project-related documentation and deliverables are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Utilize MS Project, Gantt charts, and Gate Phase methodology to schedule and manage projects.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of technical project engineering or management.
Demonstrated proficiency in Technical Proposal, Project Engineering, and Cross Functional Project Management.
Solid experience in IT Project Management, incorporating LOE, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
Proven ability in IT Risk Management, Risk Management, and implementation of Risk Mitigation Strategies.
Familiarity with User Requirements, Issue Management, and Risk Identification is essential.
Proficiency in MS Project and other relevant software tools is required.
Experience in Product Development, Resource Plans, and Research & Development is necessary.
Ability to Define Project, create Detailed Project Plan, Develop Project Plan, and Manage Project Plan.
Must be able to Manage Project Risks and Manage Special Projects effectively.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment and also independently when required.
Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues and risks.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Must have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
