As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies that align with our company's vision and goals. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence in the finance industry.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
- Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Manage a sales team to meet and exceed targets, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand and capitalize on trends, and create effective, targeted strategies.
- Report on sales results and data to the senior management team, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the finance industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful commercial strategies.
- Proficient in multi-channel sales, prospecting, and territory management.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic ability to think ahead and drive thought leadership.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a persuasive communicator.
- Strong analytical skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage a high-performance sales team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment, with proven results.
