Director of Business Development (Web3), $200k/year

This role will be a foundational member of the company’s Commercial / Business Development team.
This role will be integral to the development, delivery, review, and maturation of the company’s commercial strategy to drive business growth.
We are a deep tech company with a technical product. As such, the ideal candidate possesses a solid technical grounding via his or her education and/or professional experience. For example, the ideal candidate could have transitioned from early technical roles in their career, to be more on the business side with progressive responsibility.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company’s go-to-market strategy
- Develop and implement enterprise customer / partner acquisition strategy across Web 2 and Web3
- Own customer relationships via sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Oversee and champion web3 community building.
- Strong commercial background across Web2 and Web3
- Proven experience in business development in the Web3 space.
- Proven experience at the coalface of a startup, i.e., in its infancy
- Demonstrable experience in managing operational performance within financial budgets
- Proven ability to attract new enterprise-quality sales and retain existing customers

Compensation: $160k-$200k/year base salary + Bonus + Equity
