Futures Trade Clearing Specialist

Are you an experienced Futures Trade Clearing Specialist with expertise in ensuring the seamless execution and clearing of trades? Do you excel in reconciling futures trades with clearinghouse records, and promptly addressing any discrepancies?

Please note this is an onsite position at the client’s Chicago office.

As a Futures Trade Clearing Specialist, you will provide:

  • Trade Reconciliation: Accurately match and reconcile futures trades with clearinghouse records, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Position Management: Monitor and update open positions, ensuring compliance with margin requirements and internal policies.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with clearing activities.
  • Clearing Process Optimization: Streamline the clearing process to enhance efficiency, working closely with IT and operations teams to resolve any system issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clearing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and prepare necessary reports for compliance.
  • Client and Stakeholder Support: Provide expert support to traders, clients, and internal teams regarding clearing operations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience with futures exchange clearing systems (i.e., ECS, ICE FEC, SEALS, FEC+).
  • Solid understanding of futures markets, futures operations, and the clearing process.
  • Experience with clearing systems and financial trading platforms.
  • Risk Management experience
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot root cause process issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is an onsite position working at the client’s Chicago office.
