Job Description

The Chief of Staff team within the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) division directly reports to the Firmwide CDAO, a member of JPMC’s Operating Committee. This team collaborates with senior executives across the Firm to strategize, articulate and execute key strategic initiatives in data and analytics.

As a Strategy Director-Chief of Staff within the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) division, you will collaborate with senior executives across the Firm to strategize, articulate and execute key strategic initiatives in data and analytics. Your responsibilities will span from managing cross-Line of Business and Corporate Function multi-disciplinary, multi-year programs to delivering targeted, mission-critical projects for the CDAO. This role provides an opportunity to apply your problem-solving skills, analytical approaches, and project management abilities to address diverse challenges identified by senior bank leaders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives/projects to address diverse challenges identified by senior bank leaders
  • Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
  • Collect, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findings
  • Conduct creative analyses to identify issues and formulate recommendations
  • Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with the broader team and senior executives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in diverse problem solving experience, preferably from a premier management consulting firm, an investment banking division (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research), or another internal Strategy group" should be moved to a separate section for preferred qualifications.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience within a data and/or analytics organization, or specific strategy project experience in the field of data and/or analytics
  • MBA and/or advanced degree from a top-tier program
