We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join our client's team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess commercial loan applications to determine creditworthiness and risk.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial information to make informed lending decisions.

  • Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate losses.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to commercial lending.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial underwriting or related financial analysis roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
