Our client, a well known Higher Education corporation is urgently looking to hire a Customer Service Rep to join their team remotely!

** This is a 6+ month contract to hire with full benefits package on a W2! **

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree OR Masters degree
  • Experience working in an academic environment
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources and/or counseling essential
  • Knowledge of academic policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience.
  • Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, through proactive and timely outreach.
  • Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success.
  • Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests.
  • Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student.
  • Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support.
  • Be a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments
