Job Description

We are looking for an HR Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain a handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; assist with new-employee orientations; onboarding and exit interviewing; write and place advertisements.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Handle all levels of employee relations issues by coaching and counseling employees and managers on a variety of work-related issues.
  • Develop programs regarding the training and retention of employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • SHRM and/or HRCI certification preferred
  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Must be able to work in a professional and confidential environment
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
