Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain a handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; assist with new-employee orientations; onboarding and exit interviewing; write and place advertisements.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle all levels of employee relations issues by coaching and counseling employees and managers on a variety of work-related issues.
- Develop programs regarding the training and retention of employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
- SHRM and/or HRCI certification preferred
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Must be able to work in a professional and confidential environment
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
