Location: Southfield

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or other full-time equivalent.

Reports To: Director of Operations / IT Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly Employee; $22-$24/hour. Commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The Information Technology Helpdesk Assistant will work closely with our Information Technology Supervisor and Information Technology Administrator. They will provide technical helpdesk support, hardware and software setup and troubleshooting to our staff. This position will be office-based and may include travel to locations where equipment may be located.

Essential Duties / Functions:

  • Acts in accordance with professional standards and the policies/procedures of the facility and actively participates as a positive member of the clinic environment
  • Operates, transports, adjusts, installs, and configures computer systems and related equipment, including software and programs
  • Regularly applies operating system patches and upgrades, and updates administrative tools and utilities
  • Sets up and configures new services as needed
  • Handles hardware and software installation, setup, and ongoing maintenance
  • Interacts with technology users and staff to identify, document, and resolve technical issues
  • Utilizes O365 interface for various tasks
  • Uses PowerShell for scripting and automation (preferred)
  • Performs basic repairs and troubleshoot computing and related equipment
  • Maintains continuous communication with leaders and peers
  • Fulfills all initial and ongoing training requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: Staff are to dress professionally at all times per the Employee Handbook. Staff will need to be prepared to be actively involved with consumers.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. High proficiency working in the Office 365 environment. 2+ years IT help desk experience. Must have valid driver license and approved driving record.
