Field Service Manager
We are looking for a field service manager who is highly motivated and results-driven to join our team. The responsibilities of the field service manager include scheduling field service visits, directing service personnel in the field, working with customers on service requests, and optimizing the company’s service and field sampling business lines. A successful field manager is an independent thinker with excellent leadership and analytical skills. Ultimately, a top-notch field manager is goal-oriented and has a strong working knowledge of the field work being performed.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, and motivating field representatives (FTE’s and contractors).
- Assigning and managing routes, schedules, assets and supplies for field representatives
- Work closely with company management to ensure field sampling is done in accordance with both Company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Motivate, coach and train technicians to exceed time & quality standards and comply with standard repair and maintenance processes
- Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
- Coordinates, prioritizes and resolves issues encountered by the service teams.
- Reviews escalated issues that will impact the business and provide recommendations for solutions.
- Responds to customers queries and feedback effectively, carries out the customer satisfaction investigation, and establishes the appropriate improvement plan.
- Maintain training and audit/assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to perform services, audit quality, and support team.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and proper coordination with other company departments
- Other duties assigned as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required; trade-School Degree or bachelor’s Degree preferred
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Extensive Field service and personnel management experience (10+ years).
Strong motivational and leadership skills
Excellent customer service skills
Technical knowledge on mechanical equipment and service Basic computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with WorkWave or similar Software
Knowledge of Wastewater and Drinking Water Operations is preferred. License in either is a plus.
Knowledge of ISO standards including 17025 laboratory standards is a plus
