Your Impact:
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead and transform the AP function, implementing process improvements and driving change. You will manage a team of 3-4 AP specialists, focusing on high-volume AP accounting, month-end close, GL reconciliations, and meeting with auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payables, per diem, and travel cycles, ensuring timely recording, payment, and reconciliations.
- Own and enhance vendor management processes and the purchase order system.
- Coordinate with Treasury on payment obligations and disbursement forecasts.
- Assist with month-end and annual closing, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Act as the point of contact for issue resolution with external vendors and employee per diem discrepancies.
- Mentor, coach, and develop AP team members.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience managing full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounting processes.
- Strong experience in hands-on AP, process improvements, and strategic leadership.
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP Concur experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build business partnerships.
- High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
