  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for mechanical parts and equipment.
  • Conceptualize mechanical design solutions.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis, modeling, and data analysis.
  • Innovate and generate new ideas.
  • Create component- and system-level test plans and fixtures.
  • Produce engineering reports documenting design efforts and results.
  • Develop operating procedures, manufacturing processes, and associated documentation.
  • Support product development and improve systems for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Communicate technical principles and standards with various engineering and operational groups.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.


Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities

  • Product Development
  • Testing and Validation
  • FEA, modeling, Data Analysis
  • Mechanical design and analysis


Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • A bachelor s degree in manufacturing engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related field is required.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including direct experience with FEA, CAD design work, and process documentation, is usually expected.
  • Relevant PDC drill bit knowledge and experience is desired.
  • Laboratory testing and validation experience is an advantage.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in FEA software tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Experience in creating and maintaining process documentation
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
