The role will have overall responsibilities for the planning, implementation, management and training compliance monitoring for Scientific Affairs and Medical Affairs (SA/MA), Commercial Quality (CQ) US, NA Regional Quality, and applicable US Commercial/Deliver staff GxP training programs. The role also oversees coordination of training related to local US, regional and enterprise content for J&J IM-owned GxP systems and related processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee in the development, implementation, maintenance of United States Local Operating Company (US LOC) staff role-based curricula.
  • Partner with internal customers in the design and development of training and training materials (training plan, course outline, knowledge assessments, instructional materials and tools) using sound instructional systems design methodology. Providing expertise on optimal Training Program Delivery systems (e.g., instructor-led, web-based, blended, live, mobile, video, etc.) and ensure optimal use of resources
  • Represents US LOC Commercial businesses on global and regional committees/work streams involving the training technology platform and training on procedural documents.
  • Provide training quality metrics to management, monitoring and analyzing various data sources to recognize and understand emerging trends, identify solutions to maintain necessary compliance
  • Develop timelines and training schedules to meet strategic plan goals (e.g., Pharm sector documents, Law/HCC requirements, CAPAs).
  • Apply assessment tools to ensure validity of assessment and effectiveness of training programs in accordance with enterprise training and qualification standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to training tools (e.g., LMS, assessment tools, publishing tools, systems, etc.)
  • Provide audit support related to training (e.g., Subject Matter Expertise, training transcripts, course materials, curriculum, or ad hoc reports)
  • Support and provide input into Learning Management Systems content maintenance, deployment and upgrades:
  • Change Integration Communication and stakeholder input on behalf of US LOC related to system and procedural document updates
  • Training course lifecycle management (including but not limited to course setup, assignment, tracking, reporting and quality check of training data)
  • User group/Curricula maintenance

Qualifications

Education:
  • A minimum of a BA/BS required, MA/MBA preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • A minimum of 6years in regulated industry with at least 3 years training experience
  • Previous experience with Learning Management Systems in a regulated industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in effective interpersonal communication skills, fosters teamwork, and provide continuous improvement and innovation.
  • The position requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is willing to work hard and capable of building a strong network with various resources.
  • Excellent presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communications are a must.
  • Working Knowledge in one or more learning technologies and tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Simpleshow, etc.), Webpublisher, SharePoint sites and databases.

Preferred:
  • Experience administering/overseeing training within Cornerstone on Demand (SUMMIT)
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design principles and experience redesigning courses and/or curricula
  • Working knowledge of Power BI
  • Familiarity of regulatory compliance and GxP pertaining to training
  • Project and/or Change Management experience

Other:
  • This position is anticipated to have up to 10% travel
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $150,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
