Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Duration: Long Term

W2 ONLY

Location: 40% onsite 60 % remote Must be located in SC (Greenville, SC)

Day to Day responsibilities for this role:
Maintain and operate framework that provides Guided Kubernetes (Kubernetes as a Service) solutions for customers.
Troubleshoot cluster creation failure.
Upgrade sub-components in preparing for overall KaaS quarterly upgrade using DevOps tools.
Investigate issues through log analysis.
Answer issues generated from ticket system.
Build test Kubernetes clusters guided and manually.
Suggest improvement based on repetitive issues. Verifying and updating technical and process documentation.
Staying up to date on technology stack (cloud, logging solutions, HA clusters, monitoring solutions)

Projects this role will work on: Product Excellence; Guided Kubernetes Cluster solution AWS/Azure, Cloud Security, Maintenance of Departmental Application environments, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket), Splunk, TSL/SS certificates, Bash script editing/creating. These projects would not necessarily be done simultaneously.

They will typically work on 2 projects at a time.

Top 3 skills needed for this position: AWS Cloud Architecture (Certification Preferred (Associate or Professional Level)) OR AWS Developers Certification Preferred (Associate or Professional Level).
Analytics Experience (Splunk, Grafana or a BI Platform).

Must Have:
Experience in AWS or Azure.
Someone who is outgoing, and passionate about IT and especially cloud computing and how it can help the business.
Ability to understand business needs and translates it to an IT framework.
Ability to go on call in a rotation that requires one week on duty occurring about every 3-4 weeks.

Nice to have:
Docker/Docker Swarm
Jenkins
Terraform
Python programming
Experience working in a large company (international if possible)
