Security Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT Security operations and support teams to maintain secure enterprise operations, focusing on risk management, security controls, and business continuity.


• Provide expert technical advice on security requests, prioritizing tasks across diverse technologies and business areas.


• Mentor and guide support staff and administrators, ensuring effective execution of security initiatives.


• Partner with IT and other departments to create and implement security standards and procedures that align with business processes and applications.


• Manage the threat operations program, including staff supervision, policy enforcement, emergency planning, and security awareness efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate security concepts to a variety of stakeholders, including business users, developers, and IT Security teams.


• Act as a key expert in IT Security operations, overseeing task assignments, promoting skill development, and offering continuous feedback.


• Develop and maintain proactive monitoring, reporting, and metrics systems; provide risk and remediation guidelines to ensure security best practices, including incident response requirements.


• Work closely with technical managers and development teams to define and implement security requirements, collaborating on design, testing, and user acceptance.


• Oversee the triage of intelligence alerts/events, prioritize remediation actions, and provide data-driven analysis to support executive decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required, though relevant experience may be considered.


• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in large or enterprise-level organizations.


• At least 2 years of experience in IT Security within similar large-scale environments.


• Preferred certifications include CISSP, Security+, or equivalent information security credentials.


• Proven experience with PCI compliance or similar regulatory frameworks.


• Strong understanding of enterprise-level network architecture and topologies.


• Experience with security designs for Cloud, hybrid Cloud, and On-premise environments.


• Demonstrated experience working within large corporate enterprise environments.
