Client Requirement:

As a Requirements Coordinator, the employee performs a complete range of IT assignments supporting the technical needs of business areas including, but not limited to, business needs analysis, Wishlist/requirements elicitation, participation in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, solution evaluation, coordination of activities with Program Area Leads, UAT coordination and participation, participation in defect triage and testing, implementation support, and release management and maintenance support including training assistance. The Requirements Coordinator is a key contributor to BES overall customer service and serves as a liaison between DTMB, Business Areas, and Third-Party Contractors. In this role, the employee is a champion for their assigned application, work to stay in compliance with DTMB policies and practices. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members, mentor other MDARD staff, and evaluate new technologies and agency systems for points of integration and creating a better experience for users. As prompted by proposed legislation, enhancement requests, or changes in governmental processes or procedures, this employee will evaluate, document, and inform MDARD management and supported business area partners of impact and risks, to current and future applications as the need arises. Employee will actively participate in strategic discussions related to application roadmaps as well as overall business goals and direction as applicable.
