  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description:

Local Candidates only- Fort Mills, San Diego, or New Jersey

PostgreSQL DBA to join our team for a critical project within the LPL environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of PostgreSQL database systems, ensuring the highest level of availability and performance for mission-critical applications.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in database administration, backups, recovery, and security.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) options for PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS for PostgreSQL for PostgreSQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with replication and load balancing for PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of other relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with database migration tools and techniques.
