  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

ALTA IT is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team as a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) Identity Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) team.

Responsibilities

  • This Engineer will deploy infrastructure and platform environments and create a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance.
  • Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production-grade containers using AWS EKS
  • Develop IaC for cluster orchestration and application deployment using a variety of tools such as Ansible, Terraform
  • Work with a variety of cloud-native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack.
  • Design and build features for implementation in the production system and operational employment by our customers.
  • Proactively resolve technical hurdles and continue innovative efforts within SAFe development practices.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other team members to decompose large tasks into small testable tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Clearance: Secret clearance is required
  • Bachelor s degree in relevant Field
  • 5+ years in cloud-based solutions and cloud CLIs
  • Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, security concepts, network, and system design
  • Advanced experience in various technology areas including cloud, identity solutions.
  • Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Experience hardening and testing systems and applications.
  • Experience configuring physical/virtual networks (VLANs, VNIC, Switches, & other networking hardware)
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server file systems and operations.
  • Certified in one or more of top for CSP (AWS Preferred)
  • DoD 8140 Baseline Certification (Security+, CASP, CISM, CISSP)
  • Preferred experience in DoD Cloud environments
