Firewall Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firewall Engineer to join our team at MDS. As a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, we are looking for an individual who is proficient in PANW firewall migrations and policy analysis/cleanup. The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience with Panorama and log collectors, as well as NGFW Global Protect. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or within a team environment. Key

Responsibilities:
- Perform PANW firewall migrations including planning, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Analyze existing firewall policies and make recommendations for improvement or cleanup
- Configure and manage Panorama platform for centralized management of firewalls
- Monitor network traffic and security logs to identify potential threats
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide customized solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and security threats Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with PANW firewalls (PANOS)
- Experience with Panorama management platform configuration and management
- Strong knowledge of NGFW Global Protect configurations
- Proficient in analyzing firewall policies using tools such as WebUI
