Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated FP&A Intern for the 2024/2025 school year. This role is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and planning to graduate in 2025. As an intern, you will support our Chief Financial Officer with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and collecting information from all of our project teams.

This is a paid internship providing valuable real-world experience in FP&A within the renewable energy sector. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, contributing to Linea Energy’s growth while accelerating the clean energy transition. - Assist in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Help analyze financial data, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various financial projects
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as needed
- Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, graduating in 2025
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- Proficiency w/ Powerpoint
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in the renewable energy industry and a desire to pursue a career in finance or accounting
