As a Group Creative Lead, you are a visionary who leads creative excellence, combining craftsmanship, a passion for prototyping, and meticulous attention to detail. Your obsession with technology and its potential for real-world impact drives you to create Amazing Work – including social-first initiatives, the digital realm, and traditional campaigns. You will help steward and extend the Google brand. You're expected to conceive, execute, and oversee breakthrough ideas that will impact and strengthen users' views on the brand. In this role, you'll drive narrative/design/UX strategy and vision, expertly crafting ideas and campaigns that resonate across multiple mediums. With a proven track record of launching new experiences, navigating complex platforms, and managing large teams, you'll guide the creative team's high-level direction and empower them to solve business and user needs collaboratively. In addition, you will work together with creative and business partners to come up with and execute big, never-been-done-before ideas with lasting impact to the brand.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive creative excellence through the craft, a mindset of making/prototyping and detailed execution, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Concept and develop high profile brand marketing campaigns and activations, while guiding more junior members of the team (including: designers, writers, editors, motion support) to execute on that vision.
  • Make key decisions for creative projects that drive the high-level direction, vision, and strategy required to solve business and user needs.
  • Make sure the work is on-brief, in the Google tone, and help guide it through conception to the approval process and into production.
  • Advocate for the user and the brand.
