Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator with a strong background in healthcare HR. This position will support the HR Director and ensure the smooth operation of HR functions across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in HR best practices, possess a SHRM-CP certification, and have experience in healthcare or a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration:
    • Manage employee records, including updating HR databases, maintaining personnel files, and processing new hire paperwork.
    • Assist in the administration of benefit plans, including health insurance, 401(k), and employee wellness programs.
    • Process payroll changes and coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
    • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to optimize onboarding checklists and training materials for new employees.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
    • Address employee grievances, escalate concerns to the HR Director, and assist in conflict resolution as needed.
    • Promote a positive work environment by supporting company-wide cross-training and career development initiatives.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as industry-specific regulations related to healthcare HR.
    • Assist in managing HR audits, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information, and supporting risk management efforts.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support the implementation of performance review cycles, employee evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
    • Assist in tracking key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and engagement scores.
  • HR Project Support:
    • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, including cross-training programs, disciplinary systems, and tailored benefits enhancements.
    • Collaborate with the HR Director and clinical leaders on projects that promote employee development and satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in HR administration or coordination, preferably within the healthcare industry.
    • Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., ADP, Lattice) is a plus.
  • Certifications:
    • SHRM-CP or willingness to obtain SHRM-CP certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and locations.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong time-management skills.
