Job Description

The Entry Level Marketing Assistant at CORE X PLUG supports the marketing team in implementing and managing marketing campaigns, conducting research, and assisting in various promotional efforts. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who is looking to gain experience in the field of marketing. The Marketing Assistant will help with social media, email marketing, content creation, and market research while working closely with senior marketing staff.

$21.50 - $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, both online and offline
  • Support the team with social media management, including scheduling posts and responding to customer inquiries
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends relevant to the company
  • Help with the design and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional emails
  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms
  • Maintain and update the company's website and social media profiles with current content
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating promotional events and product launches
  • Monitor competitor marketing activity and provide insights to the team
  • Manage customer databases and email lists for targeted campaigns
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between marketing activities and company goals
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including preparing reports and presentations
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience or internships in marketing is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and marketing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
