Job Summary: As part of the RadioMedix IT team, you will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software by answering users' questions, training users on basic system and computer functions, addressing system and user issues, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide entry-level support for all Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching, or instructing employees regarding software or hardware functionality.
  • Installation, administration, and daily maintenance of the workplace IT infrastructure (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, desk and mobile phones, network cabling, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Controller, Group Policy, and Windows ACLs.
  • Replace/install existing and/or install new desktops/laptops at designated employee office area locations, ensuring employees have the required equipment and software.
  • Assist in the accomplishment of company objectives by performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Resolve user configuration, network access, and authentication issues.
  • Ensure IT security: antivirus tools, encryption, local and network backups.
  • Maintain IT and Company assets (Hardware/Software) inventory.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Computer hardware & software installation, diagnostic, and troubleshooting.
  • Operating systems installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Remote connectivity, VPN, Multi-factor Authentication.
  • Principles of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge of LAN, WAN, and network essentials such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Principles of email and conference software (Outlook, Teams, Zoom).
  • Office productivity tools (MS Office 365, MS Office, etc.)
  • Must be willing to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical And Personal Requirements

  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs. as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours if required.
  • Problem Solving, Initiative, Teamwork, Flexibility, Communication Skills (written & spoken), Result Orientation.

Education And Experience

An associate or bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field,

OR equivalent experience in IT-related field.

CompTIA A+ certification, and/or applicable Microsoft or Other types of IT certification(s) are a plus.

Residency Requirement

  • Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
