Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Description
As a Construction Manager, you will manage contractor safety in compliance with client requirements and OSHA regulations. You will coordinate with contractor supervision, direct contractor work tasks to expedite schedules, and manage the interface between contractors. Your role includes understanding the project schedule and assessing job progress, attaining knowledge of design intent, process flows, and equipment functions, and managing contract communications and change orders. You will participate in weekly construction progress meetings, issue meeting minutes, and clarify contractor RFIs. Observing installed work to ensure quality requirements are met, coordinating with the project team to resolve quality issues, and preparing weekly construction reports are also part of your responsibilities. You will liaise with the site manager to coordinate construction activities with site operations, maintain a complete set of project drawings, and document and manage client-procured equipment and material. Additionally, you will monitor and control costs for T&M projects and manage site staff activities. This role requires 7+ years of experience.
