Expression Manufacturing LLC is a CDMO that specializes in cell and lentiviral vector manufacturing for biopharmaceutical clients. The Company has a 43,000 square foot manufacturing facility in West Chester, Ohio, with state-of-the-art laboratory space and advanced modular cleanrooms, with separate areas dedicated for early phase and scale-up manufacturing of GMP cell and viral vector products.

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting and Finance. The Manager of Accounting and Finance will be responsible for executing and managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department. This role requires a proactive and hands-on leader who ensures financial activities align with GAAP standards. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, General Ledger (GL), and payroll.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with the CPA firm to complete tax-related tasks and filings.
• Manage the financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong experience with NetSuite Oracle.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience in the biotech or manufacturing industry is a plus.
