Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month W2 contract for a Digital Payments Configuration Analyst with our great financial services client.

  • Pay: $50-60/hr
  • Location: Hybrid in O'Fallon, MO
  • Assignment Length: W2 contract through 09/30/2025, possible extension based on performance, needs/budget of team, etc.

What are your top 3 required technical skills?
  • Able to run Oracle DML scripts
  • Familiar with Linux server
  • Competent reading technical documents (read the doc, know where a value comes form/needs to go to complete their work)
What are a couple of desired/nice to have skills?
  • Able to read/understand basic C#, java, python, php (basic level of any, there is not programming)
What is your team's main responsibility?
  • Onboarding of customers on to MDES platform, enabling digital payments through tokenization. Additional is Support and trouble shooting of setup and determine root cause and solutions to correct.
What will a typical work day look like for this contractor?
  • Open email, log into firewall, log into applications such as ticketing tool, Configuration application and Remedy tool. Check emails for replies and correspondence on projects they are working. Review assigned projects and continue to determine if required information/parameters to move forward or further correspondence required. Meet weekly with team to discuss pain points in projects or process and get group consensus on path forward.
What will the work schedule be?
  • Time of day may start earlier due to global nature of team and the weekly meeting. Witht eh way the work comes in, we're flexible as long we're aware. You can't work anytime, but goal is to align to near the area they're in within reason.

Overview
  • Responsible for customized production configurations for existing and new customers
  • Accountable for integrating new products into the global implementation framework
  • Provides internal partners with technical expertise on implementation plans and release requirements
  • Configures production environments to integrate technical knowledge and functional relationships of all systems, products and services
  • Addresses and resolves complex or unusual customer inquiries and issues escalated by more junior resources
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on implementation and configuration project activities and provides technical guidance to assist with troubleshooting efforts
  • Interprets and translates customer requests into parameter values across Client internal systems to ensure compliance with Client's processing standards, specifications and rules
  • Contributes to process improvement efforts and initiatives to enhance the customer experience
  • Leverages technical expertise to explain technical concepts to senior team members
  • Provides training or explanations to extended team, internal Client teams and potentially customers on Client processing, products and services.
  • Leads medium-sized projects/initiatives as an individual contributor with knowledge of Client's products/services and implementation standards
  • May act as vertical lead to provide mentorship and guidance for the more junior colleagues within a particular focus area
