We are seeking an HRIS Specialist to join our client’s team. As a leading non-profit for digital rights of artists and entertainers, our client has over 100 years of experience working with top talent. The HRIS Specialist will maintain the integrity of the Human Resources information systems (HRIS), focusing on data analytics, compliance, reporting, and troubleshooting. Acting as the subject matter expert for Namely, the Specialist will support HR functions, provide data-driven insights, and manage system processes. Candidates must be local to New York City and able to work onsite three times per week.

Location: New York City – Manhattan (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Must have prior HR experience
  • Develop, maintain, and present reports related to EEO, talent acquisition, compliance, and employee turnover, supporting data-driven decisions and identifying trends.
  • Manage benefit plan configuration during open enrollment, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience for employees.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance current processes and lead new initiatives for HR systems, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HRIS-related issues, handling troubleshooting and managing system audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Lead employee training, creating documentation, guidelines, and end-user procedures to support the HR team's use of systems.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements, promoting system efficiencies, compliance, and HR functional effectiveness.
  • Oversee vendor management for HR technology contracts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely system support and updates.
  • Provide support for key system-driven processes, such as time-off requests, address changes, tax form updates, and other employee data needs.

Required Technology And Skills

  • 3+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HRIS-focused role.
  • Expertise in HRIS platforms such as Namely, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Always demonstrates a can-do and roll-up the sleeves attitude

Compensation: The target base salary for this job is $70,000 - $80,000.
