Azure Cloud Architect

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to work on their ongoing project in the Boise, ID office.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

We need a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in the following.

• Experience as a cloud architect working specifically with Azure Architecture
• Experience architecting on-prem to Azure cloud migration
• Strong experience with migration methodologies, tools, and automation (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure where the "Lift and Shift" and cloud native applications co-exits.
• Experience with Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, security, and identity management.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, hybrid cloud setups, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
• Architect experience in relevant technical environment - Microsoft SQL Server, .Net Framework Web applications, .Net Core applications to Azure Cloud
• Migration of servers on VxRail
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, as this role requires the ability to guide cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are highly preferred.
