ARS is seeking a Social Media Specialist to serve as a thought leader within the Digital Marketing team. Working in collaboration with public relations, brand strategy, and ARS internal content and creative studio, this role will build and expand our voice across social channels, establish ARS as experts in our industry, and drive consumer preference. In addition, it will help to showcase our culture as an employer of choice and share positive experiences with our customers.

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and administer social media content that is designed to engage users, create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company, and increase brand awareness to help increase sales
  • Set objectives, KPIs, and measure and report on the performance of all social media properties and assesses against goals
  • Formulate and drive social strategy to support consumer reach, engagement, traffic, and revenue goals
  • Help establish social media policies and procedures
  • Track social trends and sentiment to create opportunities to engage with followers at an emotional level
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, as well as external insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Manage the editorial calendar, keeping it fully up to date and available cross-functionally
  • Stay on top of emerging social media platforms
  • Work closely with the communications team to develop engaging content around our partnerships with St. Jude, Tim Tebow Foundation, etc. The coordinator/manager will also be a key part of our nationwide ARS Cares initiative
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests, escalating as necessary
  • Use social listening platforms to provide insights for content creation
  • Work closely with the internal and external groups to create compelling visuals (copy, photo, imagery, video, etc.) that resonate with and engage social media followers and align with ARS brand guidelines
  • Optimize pages within each platform
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend fixes where needed
  • Must have strong knowledge of the social media landscape, expertise in specific social media channels (FB, TW, IG, LI, YT), and best practices
  • Experience managing paid social advertising
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Customer service background a plus
  • Team orientation and collaborative style
  • Innovative thinker not afraid to propose new ideas
  • Experience with social media publishing and monitoring tools. Sprout Social experience a plus
  • Digital image and video editing skills preferred
  • Experience working at or with digital advertising agencies a plus
