  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: HCM Developer

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (CANADA) - PREFERRED

Note: Must work onsite 40 hours a week at the Canadian Headquarters in Vancouver, Quesnel BC, Toronto ON, or Memphis TN.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Cognos BI analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
  • Serve as a primary resource for Human Capital Management (HCM) requests involving complex reports, integrations, and dashboards utilizing UKG Cognos BI and/or other reporting and visualization tools.
  • Design, develop, document, test, analyze and maintain reports and integrations
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of related technologies and implement them
  • Prioritize, schedule, and administer enhancements and defect resolution are required
  • Evaluate resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated problems
  • Communicate with key stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve issues
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process and resolution in ServiceNow
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems are resolved
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of manuals and guidelines
  • Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures
  • Conduct research on emerging application development software products and features
  • Liaise with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products and features

The Ideal candidate has the following:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or MIS from a recognized public or private program and/or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience with a leading HCM system data (UKG, Workday, Oracle, SAP)
  • Understanding of database design, structure, functions
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen
  • Demonstrated alignment with and sharing of Company values
  • Specialization in one or more of the following technologies is an asset: Cognos BI or Power BI reporting platforms, relational databases & tools (.NET, SharePoint / o365 suite)
  • Has in-depth knowledge and skills in this discipline; striving to acquire expert level skills
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve products or services
  • Interprets business needs, assesses requirements, and identifies solutions
  • Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus
  • Works independently with minimal guidance in own area of knowledge
  • Can effectively determine own priorities
  • Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of both standard and unique activities
  • Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets
  • Coordinates resources required to meet goals
  • Promotes teamwork, coaches, and guides others
