  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mainframe Data Extraction: Leverage Informatica Power Exchange to extract and integrate data from Mainframe systems, ensuring efficient and reliable data transfer.
  • ETL Architecture: Design and implement detailed ETL architecture, ensuring that it meets business requirements and performance standards.
  • Data Profiling & Analysis: Perform data profiling and in-depth data analysis to identify data patterns, quality issues, and other key insights.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize data extraction and ETL workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
  • SQL & Database Expertise: Write and maintain complex SQL queries, ensuring optimal interaction with databases for both extraction and transformation purposes.
  • Power Exchange Domain Expertise: Utilize your expertise in Power Exchange to ensure effective data integration and resolve technical challenges within the domain.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define technical specifications and ensure the smooth execution of data integration processes.
  • Documentation: Document ETL processes, configurations, and performance optimization strategies for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Informatica Power Exchange in data extraction from Mainframe systems.
  • Strong experience with SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
  • Proven expertise in ETL design and development, particularly with Informatica tools.
  • Experience in data profiling, data quality analysis, and understanding of data governance principles.
  • Skilled in performance tuning of data extraction and transformation processes.
  • Experience working with Mainframe systems is a significant advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for ETL deployment.
  • Knowledge of DataStage, Talend, or other ETL tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
