  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Job Title - BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • BI Solution Design: Develop, maintain, and manage BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Data Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs. Analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
  • Data Modeling: Design and implement data models and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately captured and available for reporting.
  • Reporting: Develop dynamic and user-friendly reports using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various data sources, including relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and cloud-based platforms.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize BI solutions for performance, ensuring fast data retrieval and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation related to BI reports, data models, and processes to ensure smooth handovers and system transparency.
  • Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance of BI solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the integrity of data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • years of experience in BI development (specify the desired level, e.g., 3+ years).
    • Experience working with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
    • Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and database management.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
    • Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
    • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
    • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based BI tools (Power BI Premium, Google Data Studio).
  • Experience with real-time analytics and data streaming solutions.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus.
  • Certifications in BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist).
