Position Overview

We seek an experienced and dynamic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the pursuit of new business with new and existing customers of The Company’s specialty contracting businesses. The CRO will drive The Company’s revenue growth strategies, oversee all revenue-generating departments, and align sales, marketing, and customer success functions to achieve our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies to drive sustainable growth
  • Set and achieve revenue targets across all business units and product lines
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the global sales team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Optimize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and manage key client relationships at the executive level

Marketing Alignment

  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and revenue goals
  • Oversee the development of go-to-market strategies for new products and services
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints

Customer Success and Retention

  • Implement strategies to maximize customer lifetime value and reduce churn
  • Oversee the customer success team to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage data analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimize revenue operations
  • Implement and maintain robust CRM and sales intelligence systems
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team and board of directors

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure product roadmaps align with market demands and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop accurate forecasts and pricing strategies
  • Partner with HR to attract, develop, and retain top sales talent
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with The Company’s objectives and financial targets.

Industry Thought Leadership

  • Represent The Company at industry events and conferences
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or revenue management roles
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a B2B environment, preferably in the industrial or energy sectors
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales technologies
