Fashion Assistant-1

Position Summary

The Fashion Assistant supports in maintaining the image of Calvin Klein brands through the coordination of product for global advertising campaigns, product marketing shoots, and supplemental shoots as needed. Liaising between creative, merchandising, design and marketing, the Assistant works closely with all teams to ensure samples are organized and product is captured correctly.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job

Global Advertising

  • Attend and document product selection meetings for advertising campaigns, lookbooks and additional marketing shoots as
  • Compile and review all of the marketing decks, buys, orders, gazettes, shotlists, creative concepts and briefs for the season
  • Organize product for style outs, pulling samples from marketing, design and merchandising as needed. Check in all samples received.
  • Create looks decks (using InDesign and Keynote) for Marketing and Creative to be shared following style outs and shoots
  • Manage the organization of fittings and wardrobe at style outs and on set
  • Work with the on-set team to coordinate set up and organize the product in the photo studio.
  • Work with post-production team to ensure product is represented accurately.
  • Manage the Fashion Office closets and restocking

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 1-2 years experience in the fashion industry (preferably on shoots) and experience with sample coordination.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a creative field

Skills: Must be a team player with strong communication skills

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail

Creative eye with an interest in Fashion

Experience on set (pref including both photo and video shoots)

Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Proficient on Mac using Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote

Internal & External Contacts

Internal: CMO, PR, Design, Merchandising, Regional Marketing partners, Licencees

External: Industry stylists, photographers, models and agents, hair stylists and make up

artists, production teams and creative agencies.

Decision Making

Must make decisions and choose actions that provide the best outcome for the brand, under the guidance of the Fashion Director

Resourcefulness/Creativity

Must understand all components of Global Marketing Group processes and make recommendations regarding vision/theme of project that are brand-appropriate

Environment

Fast paced environment, based at the Calvin Klein Corporate Office but traveling to photoshoots at studio / on location as needed. Must be flexible with work hours and weekends, based on project needs.

Pay Range:$58,500 - $73,500

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
