  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

A progressive architectural consulting firm is looking for an Urban Designer to join their San Francisco office! This role has the opportunity to be hybrid or even fully remote.

In this newly created role, you will help shape innovative solutions at the intersection of architecture, culture, and the environment to elevate quality of life. Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts from various disciplines to design and craft outstanding spaces!

Key Responsibilities

  • Create urban plans, zoning regulations, and land use proposals that incorporate sustainable practices into projects
  • Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and visualizations that are both visually compelling and in line with project requirements
  • Perform site analysis and research to assess land use, zoning regulations, environmental impact and community needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive solutions

Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years professional urban design or related experience at a US based firm
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in related field
  • Strong graphic and presentation skills
  • Software experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Unreal Engine, SketchUp, Twinmotion and the Adobe Suite
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for problem solving and creating bespoke solutions
