Job Description
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the full cycle accounting for the hotel. Duties include: preparing and maintaining accurate financial records by performing a variety of complex clerical and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of financial records, and preparing financial, statistical, and/or technical reports.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly close procedures
- Prepare daily deposits and cash handling
- Responsible for all Account Payables activities
- Record daily sales and post in the accounting system
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Review and dispute chargebacks
- Support the back-office team as needed
- Complete ad hoc requests
- Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Well organized
- Relevant Accounting experience and skills
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- High School Diploma
- Hospitality experience is a plus
- Knowledge of M3 is a plus but not necessary as training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
