Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Greensboro, NC

Overview: TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer for our client based in Greensboro, NC. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on enhancing manufacturing processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap for the manufacturing operations.
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, and Kaizen events to drive process improvements.
  • Initiate and lead lean activities to enhance overall performance and efficiency.
  • Design and implement methods, procedures, and work instructions to support and sustain lean initiatives.
  • Create and manage a Lean Training program to promote employee education and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Material Management teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial).
  • 3-5 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
  • Strong background in Lean principles, with relevant certification.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering Lean training programs, including 5S, Kaizen, and problem-solving techniques.
