*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform general ledger reconciliation
- Prepare weekly invoicing to clients
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and tax preparation
- Conduct corporate accounting tasks
- Utilize Quickbooks desktop or similar accounting software
- Ensure accurate recording of debits and credits
- Uphold Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Provide front desk coverage: greeting guests, managing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments, handling office equipment and supplies,
- Rapid and efficient phone call handling (rapid answers and quick, efficient responses, and follow-up calls).
- Rapid and efficient email handling (rapid action taking, resolving scheduling and billing conflicts, quick responses with action).
- Maintaining an organized, clean office environment, organizing and maintaining files and databases in a confidential manner.
- Manage customer communication, including emails and phone calls; the customer database; and the customer contracts database, organized on the spreadsheet with up-to-date dates and additional follow-ups and notifications to the team.
- Assisting the CEO and Senior Management Staff with all business ventures, and personal/business matters.
*Qualifications*
- High School Diploma/GED or Bachelors
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in financial report writing
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
