Morning Technical Director

As a Morning Technical Director on the VSiN team, you will direct productions such as live broadcasts and be responsible for all visual elements for our informative and data-heavy shows. We seek an individual who can mix multiple video sources and graphics while handling video playback and remote camera operation. Working with the Audio engineer, Content Producers, and a team of Production professionals, the Technical Director will help create shows that inform sports bettors about news, information, and trends.

What you’ll do as a Morning Technical Director:

  • Responsible for executing live productions
  • Manage all visual elements of assigned shows
  • Evaluate the visual quality of graphics, remote cameras, and studio shots
  • Manage broadcast control room systems, video switchers, and graphics systems
  • Clip playback, cameras, audio consoles, intercoms, and video routers
  • Improve shows through the visual aspects they manipulate

What you’ll bring:

  • At least two years of technical direction experience
  • Understanding of industry standard broadcast switchers
  • Basic sports and sports betting knowledge
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes on the fly for breaking news and unexpected
  • Practical, effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to achieve clean shows
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends)
  • Ability to lift to 45 lbs
