Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) has an exciting opportunity and immediate need for an Onboarding Specialist, preferably with 2 years' experience in administrative work or human resources in residential living, hotel, healthcare, senior living or other hospitality settings to support our CA Human Resources team. As the CA Onboarding Specialist, you will have the flexibility to work remotely to support our communities in Napa, Saratoga, San Mateo and Davis with making job offers and managing pre-employment contingencies. You will play a key part in helping people get started with their new jobs.

Schedule: Remote work with the option to work in a community if you would like. This is a full time, Monday - Friday role. Common HR business hours 00 am - 5:00 pm. However, you can set your own schedule between the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

What You Will Do:

  • Make job offers to candidates when managers indicate they would like to move forward with hiring.
  • Manage pre-employment contingencies for candidates in the CA communities. Keep applicant tracking system up-to-date on pre-employment process steps completed for new hires.
  • Coordinate with local HR team members to confirm when candidates are ready to be hired.
  • Process employee bonus requests.
  • Initiate process for sending surveys to new hires and managers at day 30 and new hires at day 90 to check-in on the onboarding experience. Shares results with key stakeholders.
  • Answer calls, emails and texts for inquiries on job openings, applications, references, employment verifications, etc. and provide assistance to candidates and new hires.
  • Maintain tickler files on covid-19 vaccines, TBs, required licenses, etc.
